Usage

nulldisk # interactive terminal UI
nulldisk ui ~/code # live disk map with a treemap
nulldisk dev -i # review development clutter
nulldisk dev ~/code --older-than 30d # report rebuildable files, worktrees
nulldisk clean ~/code --older-than 30d --yes # move rebuildable output to Trash
nulldisk scan ~/Downloads # text tree, 2 levels, top 20
nulldisk scan / --depth 1 --top 10
nulldisk scan /var --json > var.json # one JSON report for scripts
nulldisk scan ~/code --profile dev --jobs 8
nulldisk open ~/Downloads # macOS: open the folder in NullDisk

Servers and SSH

The Linux builds are fully static, so you can copy them to any server and run them over SSH. The NullDisk Mac app can also scan remote Linux hosts over SSH by itself; it uploads its own small helper, so there is nothing to set up.

scp ~/Downloads/nulldisk user@server:~/nulldisk
ssh user@server '~/nulldisk scan /srv --depth 1 --json' > srv.json
